Lazy Sunday routine: Read email, view foodie buddies' sites, check lotto ticket and count my cash in my wallet . Well, I only have $22 cash in my wallet but surprise surprise - - my stocks has a cumulative earning of 33.89%. Seriously - - I have NO MONEY in my wallet (no shopping for me)- - but I will survive!

Anyway, today, I woke up early and decided to give the family a wonderful surprise with some freshly made scones
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 cup light brown sugar (reserve 1/2 tsp for toppings)
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1/2 cup dried mixed berries
1 cup buttermilk
HERE'S HOW:
- Combine all ingredients and mix well
- Place on top of counter (Place wax paper) dusted with flour. Knead and form into one ball
- Cut into triangle pieces. Sprinkle top with brown sugar. Arrange in baking pan (Be sure to spray with non stick cooking spray).
- Bake for 10 minutes at 425 degrees or until medium brown
